Description
The STE series is used in low refrigeration cells for storing fresh and frozen products.

There are two variants for different cell temperatures:
- for higher temperatures (= +2 °C) with a fin spacing of 3.5 mm;
- for low temperatures (= -25 °C) with a fin spacing of 7 mm and electric defrosting.
The high-performance heat exchangers found in all models in this series are made using special profile aluminium fins and are produced for use with copper pipes suitable for modern refrigerants.
The standard motor fans have the following properties:
- Diameter 315 mm, alternating current 230V/1/50-60Hz with external rotor and integrated operating capacity and protective grille made from polyamide glass fibres.
- Protection class IP 44;
- Insulation class B;
- Inner temperature monitor;
- Operating temperature -35 °C to +40 °C.
Versions with standard ED defrosting are equipped with stainless steel heating elements and vulcanised end terminators and intended for use with a 400 V/3/50-60 Hz connection.
The electrical parts and the housing are connected to an earth terminal; motor and heating element connections are in separate junction boxes with an IP 54 protection rating.
Models with different heat exchangers, defrosting mechanisms and motor fans can be provided on request.
Use the “Scelte“ program from Modine to select models that function in conditions other than standard conditions stated in the catalogue.
