CO2 condensing units
At the heart of the condensing unit is a transcritical CO₂ compressor equipped with innovative dynamic vapour injection (DVI technology). DVI enables the direct injection of flash gas into the compressor, resulting in efficient and smooth operation regardless of outside temperatures. This prevents the system from shutting down in summer. An intelligent control concept manages all system components and ensures efficient and reliable operation whilst maintaining consistently high food quality.

When designing Copeland’s new CO₂ condensing units, the focus was on ensuring particularly straightforward and flexible installation. The innovative modular design makes the CO₂ scroll condensing units ideal for use in urban areas and in retrofit projects where space is limited. The units can be configured as compact or split systems, installed both inside and outside the building, and the gas cooler can be positioned horizontally, vertically or freestanding as required.
