"Only until February 2026:
Secure your HFC refrigerants at the current conditions."
PLAN & ORDER NOW --> DELIVERY BY THE END OF JANUARY 2026
Take advantage of this opportunity to replenish your refrigerant stocks in good time. By planning your stocks until 1 February 2026, you can secure stable prices and avoid expensive surprises in the coming year.
- From 2026 onwards, HFC quotas for 2026 will also incur costs of €3 per tonne of CO2 equivalent. (Source: https://www.wko.at/umwelt/f-gase-verordnung)
- E.g. R134a (GWP 1430) + € 4,29/kg; R410A (GWP 2088) + €6,26/kg
The EU F-Gas Regulation (EU Regulation 2024/573) regulates the gradual phase-out of fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases), including many refrigerants, and provides for a reduction in the available quantity of these substances. The aim is to minimise the use of climate-damaging refrigerants and thus reduce CO₂ emissions. The available quantity of F-gases (expressed in CO₂ equivalents) will be further reduced each year.
In 2025 and 2026, the quota will be 24% of the original quantity, which means that only 24% of the 2015 quantity of F-gases will still be available. From 2027 onwards, this quantity will be reduced to 12%. This mainly affects refrigerants in groups A1 and A2(L), such as R134a or R410A. The shortage could lead to price increases and supply bottlenecks, especially for older systems that cannot be converted to new refrigerants. So take the initiative now and secure your refrigerants at the current market price.
