BrazeTec CoMet 4576U is a low-melting silver brazing alloy with very good flow properties. The brazing alloy is suitable for any steels, copper and copper alloys, nickel and nickel alloys. It can be used for all flame brazing processes and for induction heating. The composition and properties of BrazeTec CoMet 4576U comply with the specifications of worksheets GW 2 and GW 7 of the DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water).

Typical areas of application include the electrical industry, installation technology, refrigeration and air conditioning technology and vehicle construction. Experience has shown that the effectiveness of fluxes is not affected even beyond the best-before date in the unopened original container. However, it should be noted that the absorption or release of moisture can lead to changes in the adhesive strength of the flux coating.
