A connection fitting (with or without Schrader valve opener) for 7/16" UNF flared connections is pressed onto the hose with special pliers. The hose with an internal diameter of 2 mm is used as standard. According to DIN 8975 Part 6, Paragraph 5.8, a connection line with at least 4 mm inside diameter required. To meet this requirement, a hose with 4 mm inside diameter and suitable screw fittings are now also available.
