Schiessl Euro Line power racks operate with 3 semi-hermetic Bitzer Octagon compressors with the same cooling power.
Cooling power is regulated depending on the intake pressure. To control the power rack, a cascade controller (plus frequency converter for line compressor) is used in combination with a pressure transmitter. This is mounted and thermally decoupled on the intake side and records the actual intake pressure value. The cascade controller (in combination with the frequency converter) regulates the cooling power of the rack so that the target value is achieved as closely as possible. The power rack is designed for subcritical operation in the low temperature range. In combination with the associated cascade module and an R134a system, a modular and flexible complete normal/low temp cascade for normal cooling can be put created. Pipe connections from the low temperature power rack, cascade module and normal cooling power rack must be installed on site. The frame constructions consist of riveted, powder-coated steel elements. Each steel element is laser cut and folded using an NC canting machine. The power rack and cascade module stand on the supplied rubber-bonded metal base. The power rack must be horizontally oriented using a spirit level before commissioning.
