The electronic E2V-C valve is installed into refrigeration circuits as a refrigerant flow control element for evaporator superheat regulation on the intake side (pressure and temperature sensors at the evaporator outlet determine the superheating required). This valve can also be used as a pressure regulator in transcritical CO2 refrigeration systems (R744). Controller devices from CAREL are recommended for controlling E2V-C valves. The following operating conditions must be maintained for E2V-C valves.
