F-Gas Regulation

Since January 1st, 2022, two new marketing bans have come into force in accordance with the F-Gas Regulation.

Refrigerators and freezers (...) for commercial use (hermetically sealed systems) containing an HFC with a GWP greater than 150.

Multi-pack centralized refrigeration systems for commercial use with a nominal capacity of 40 kW or more that contain or require for their operation fluorinated greenhouse gases with a GWP of 150 or more, except in the primary refrigerant circuit in cascade systems where fluorinated greenhouse gases with a GWP of less than 1 500 may be used.

(37) 'multiple centralized refrigeration systems' means systems with two or more compressors operating in parallel, connected to one or more common condensers and multiple refrigeration equipment such as display cases, refrigerated cabinets, chest freezers or cold rooms;

(32) 'professional use' means use for the storage, display or supply of products for consumer, retail and catering purposes;
