The flaring bell is a very high quality flaring device with a variety of quickly exchangeable clamping jaws for every tube size in the metric range 6,8,10,12,15,16,18,22 mm and in the inch range with the clamping jaws ¼",3/8",1/2",5/8",3/4",7/8" and is used to establish connections in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology or wherever a 45° flare is required on a tube. The high-quality milled, bell-shaped housing encloses the spindle drive where the flaring head with three multiple-bearing, conical rollers roll on a support cone. Thanks to the rolling function, the flare is not pressed into shape and therefore hardened, but is evenly rolled with little effort and absolutely burr-free. Once the flare has reached its size, the spindle feed is interrupted using a locking knob and the flare is fine-rolled and aligned. The copper tube is retained during the flaring process by hardened precision clamping jaws that ensure a tight fit.
