AKVH are electronic expansion valves with a solenoid valve feature for CO2 refrigeration systems. The AKVH valves are controlled by an electronic regulator. The EKC 315A superheat controller or the AK-CC 550A cooling controller can be used as an ADAP-KOOL® regulator (see group 6 for further details).
AKV valves are supplied as a part programme as follows:
Valve without coil
Separate coil with terminal box or cable
Replacement parts - top, nozzle and filter (only required for modifications or repairs)
The power of an individual type is indicated by a number in the type designation. This number corresponds to the nozzle size of the valve. For example, a valve with a nozzle size of 3 has the type designation of AKV 10-3. The nozzle insert is replaceable.
