Shut-Up® and defrosting cover optimise the defrosting process, particularly in low temperature applications.

Advantages (in conjunction with defrosting cover):
Shut-Up® and defrosting cover allow a heat to become trapped in the air cooler during the defrosting process.

The heat remains in the cooler and provides the following advantages:

• Defrosting time reduced by more than 50%
• Significant energy savings
• No build-up of frost on the ceiling of the cold storage area or on goods due to minimal vapour formation

Design note:

• Due to additional external pressure from the defrosting cover , the air volume and performance of the cooler changes: The air volume is reduced by 10% ≙ -5% cooling power
• When using Shut-Up® and defrosting cover, the air volume is reduced by approx. 20% ≙ -10% cooling power
