1. To maintain a constant evaporating pressure and thus a constant surface temperature in the evaporator. Modulating regulation. Throttling the intake line adjusts the refrigerant volume to the load on the evaporator.
2. Protection against the evaporating pressure being too low (e.g. to protect against freezing in a water cooler). The regulator closes if the pressure in the evaporator drops below the set value.
3. Differentiation of the evaporating pressure in a refrigeration system with a compress and several evaporators with different evaporating temperatures.

Technical data
1) Die Nennleistung ist die Leistung des Reglers bei Verdampfungstemperatur t0=-10 °C, Verfüssigungstemperatur tK=+25 °C, Druckabfall im Regler Dp=0,2 bar, Offset=0,6 bar.
2) KVP wird ohne Überwurfmuttern geliefert. Seperate Überwurfmuttern können geliefert werden.
Die Anschlussgröße darf nicht zu klein gewählt werden, da Gasgeschwindigkeiten über 40 m/s in den Stutzen des Reglers Strömungsgeräusche erzeugen können.
