Parker Sporlan Catch-All® SF suction line filters must be installed between the evaporator outlet and the suction-side fluid separator or compressor. In reversible systems, the Catch-All® SF suction filters must be installed between the 4-way valve and the suction shut-off valve on the compressor. Catch-All® SF suction line filters can be fitted with a Schrader valve to check the pressure drop. The SF-28 and SF-48 series feature an overpressure bypass valve in order to prevent excessive pressure loss. The compressor is better protected against overheating and failure resulting from excessive pressure loss (excessive overheating).
