The Eliminator® burn-out filter dryer, type DAS, is installed in the intake line in order to keep refrigeration and air conditioning systems clean after burn out of the compressor motor. The solid insert is made of 70% activated aluminium oxide and 30% molecular sieve to absorb both moisture and hazardous acids. The DAS burn-out filter dryers thus protect new compressors from failing early in their life.
