Description
The IR33C features 4 relays for directly controlling the compressor, evaporator fan and defrost heating. The 4th relay is multipurpose relay as on the IR32. The function of this relay is determined by the parameter configuration.

For fast and secure installation, the IR33 has new mounting clips on the side; the IP65 seal is integrated. All models feature a buzzer than can be deactivated as needed. A transformer comes integrated with the 230 V models. Some models feature a real-time clock. Date and time are set in the factory and come with a battery that will keep the time for many years. The real-time clock models have an integrated HACCP function that monitors and logs excess temperatures and any power failures. The highly versatile configurable inputs and outputs allow for a wide range of interesting additional functionality:
- Pump down function: Inputs and outputs can be configured for low pressure switches and liquid solenoid valves.
- Two evaporators: A separate defrost sensor is used for each evaporator that automatically stops the defrosting process for each individual evaporator. A multifunction output can be configured as a relay output for the defrosting heater on the 2nd evaporator.
- Second compressor on the multifunction output that can be operated parallel to the first compressor after a configured delay time.
- Second compressor on multifunction output: both compressors (or compressor levels) can be operated using stepped switching with or without rotation.
- The condensation temperature can be monitored using a control probe. A relay output switches on the evaporator fan.
- Neutral zone control: Cooling and heating
- Frost protection alarm: A sensor can be defined as a frost protection sensor. A frost protection temperature (ALF) is set. If this temperature is reached, a (delayed) alarm AdF is triggered.
- Move target value with integrated real-time clock
- Manage parameter configurations: Up to 7 different parameter sets can be stored in a single IR33 controller which can be activated e.g. for different usage conditions.
- Local network: Max. 6 controllers can be grouped into a master-slave network.
