RENISO PAG 1234 is an ISO VG 46 refrigerator oil that has been developed for use with the two refrigerants R1234yf and R134a and is based on special double end capped polyalkylene glycols (PAG) and contains a high performance additive system to meet the special requirements in air conditioning systems. The chemical stability in particular, when combined with the new refrigerant HFO-1234yf, has been optimised by the adoption of a new additive technology for RENISO PAG 1234. Another advantage is the very good refrigerant mixability of RENISO PAG 1234: Reliable oil transport is ensured, regardless of whether R134a or HFO-1234yf is used as a refrigerant. It exhibits excellent wear protection properties across all conventional compressor types, especially in axial piston compressors, while also fulfilling the highest thermo-chemical stability requirements in HFO-1234yf circuits.
