The valve can be used from a 3/16" (5mm) to 3/8" (10mm) tube diameter and has a 7/16" UNF (1/4" SAE) connection for the filling hose. The valve clamps to the tubing. The valve handle is turned forwards until the needle tip pierces through the tube. The valve handle must be turned back for testing or filling. Once maintenance is completed, the valve is closed and is left in the tubing for future work.
