  • Practical sensor technology: The sensor on the leak detector is permanently monitored and any errors or contamination is indicated on the display. This makes the use of test leaks unnecessary. If the sensor gets dirty, it can simply be cleaned and is then ready for immediate use. Thanks to the flexible neck, the sensor can be easily positioned near to the piping or on the measurement location
  • High sensitivity: The extremely high sensitivity of < 3 g/year according to EN 14624 allows reliable detection of even the smallest leaks. The trailing point display indicates maximum leak areas to make finding the source of the leak much easier
  • Reliable warning function: When a leak is detected, the display changes from green to red. An acoustic signal also indicates a leak has been detected. Using the included earphone, the testo 316-4 leak detector can also be used in louder environments.
  • Additional options for ammonia: For refrigeration systems that use ammonia, you can use the testo 316-4 (set 1) leak detection device with the ammonia (NH3) replacement head. Or purchase the test 316-4 (set 2) leak detector specially for ammonia
  • Sensor 0554 3180 for R134a, R404A and other CFCs and HFCs. Sensor 0554 3181 for NH3 optional

  • Detects: R134a; R22; R404A; H₂ and all common refrigerants such as CFCs, HFCs, FC NH3 (separator sensor head)

  • Power supply: NiMH battery pack for approx. 6 hours use

  • Sensor: Gas-sensitive semiconductor

  • Probe: min. bending radius 40 mm
