Dies ergibt eine Reduzierung der Druckgastemperatur und somit eine Erweiterung des Einsatzbereichs verbunden mit einer Leistungserhöhung (Tiefkühlung - R22, R404A). Zudem ist der Verdichter vom Motor räumlich abgetrennt, was speziell im Fall eines Motorschadens vorteilhaft ist.
