The ZFD series has been developed for low temperature applications and offers excellent efficiency through the use of vapour injection. The digital control system based on the innovative Copeland Compliant Scroll™ design uses a simple mechanism. Power regulation is achieved by the axially separating the scroll spirals for a short period of time. This simple mechanical solution allows for precise temperature regulation and efficient operation. The digital scroll technology is a simple regulating solution requiring no additional components so that it can be quickly and easily integrated into existing systems. Digital scroll technology enables fully variable regulation from 10 to 100% without limiting the range of applications. System pressure and temperature is precisely regulated. These compressors offer optimal power for condenser units, multi-compressor refrigeration systems, processing units and agricultural equipment. All models can be fitted with an external housing for sound insulation that reduces the noise level by a further 10 dBA.
