The Danfoss ETS 5M is a compact and lightweight electric expansion valve with high reliability, offering a precise solution for expansion and flow control in a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
As the world's smallest electric expansion valve, it has been further optimised and designed for an even wider range of applications, setting new standards. The new bipolar coil extension provides more power with the same current, while full compatibility with Danfoss controllers and drivers such as EKF, EKE 1X, EKE 100 or Alsmart offers maximum flexibility. Thanks to its expanded design, the ETS 5M is now also suitable for smaller refrigeration systems.
The valve is actuated by a unipolar motor and is therefore compatible with a range of electronic controllers from Danfoss or third-party suppliers. With an EKE1 series superheat controller and an AKS sensor, superheat accuracy better than ±0.5 K can be achieved.
