R32 (difluoromethane) is a modern refrigerant with a significantly lower global warming potential (GWP) than many conventional alternatives. It is mainly used in air conditioning systems and heat pumps and offers impressive energy efficiency. As it is classified as highly flammable (A2L), special safety measures are required when handling it. R32 is considered a future-oriented solution with regard to F-gas regulations.
