NRV and NRVH are used in liquid, suction and hot gas lines in refrigeration and air conditioning systems with fluorinated refrigerants. The valves ensure the correct flow direction and prevent back-condensation from the warm to the cold part of the evaporator. Due to the built-in damping piston, the valves are suitable for installation in lines, e.g. in the pressure line on the compressor.
