This microfilm changes the resistance value of the dew point sensor so much that the connected controller or monitor detects this change and deactivates cooling. In this way, condensate dripping and moisture damage to the building structure are avoided at maximum cooling. After the dew point sensor has dried, the resistance value increases again and cooling is released again. The dew point sensor must be attached to the location of the greatest dew point probability on the cooling circuit so that any drop below the dew point can be detected in good time.
As a rule, these locations are at the entrance leading into the room and / or in the window area. If the location with the greatest dew point probability cannot be clearly determined, it is possible to connect up to 5 dew point sensors in parallel to a controller or monitor.
